DEVO tional 2001
Tom from Toledo (bw3Tippy)...
Congrats to all involved with putting on the way cool DEVOtional. It was not
to be missed. Greg and I had a great time.
Everyone I talked to had some new Devo info to share, it was amazing! The collection exhibits were the best. They
were what the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame should be (95% DEVO). The stereo concert slides blew me away - if they
could be reproduced as posters, it would give me reason to wear my 3-D glasses everyday. General Boy was larger
than life and incredibly nice. Jim M. had some great insights into the early years of bitter struggle. The
NNBBM CD is excellent and clearly represents a lot of hard work. A bitchin' new license plate frame now graces the front of my
Dodge.
Wish I could have stayed longer to see the Spudboyz but had to get home to
spell my wife in watching the baby. If I stay away too long I worry that she'll want to re-enact Barbie's scene in the LWA video, and I don't want to
duck frying pans.
