DEVO tional 2001

I enjoyed DVO2K1 (upc coding) thoroughly. Major kudos to SVO, the bands, Toth, exhibitors, et al. I apologize I
was not as 'full on' as I would like to have been, but like Rev. Stang, I was up from 6am Thurs. until 4:30pm Fri, due
to CD labeling snafus and red eye expresses from FL to Akron. Would have liked to talked to everyone more, but I
was really taxed just to stay awake on Sat - esp from about 6pm to 2:15am. I am esp. sorry that I did not speak to
all of the NNBBMV2 contributors present. I do have CD's for S.E.T.H. and his Marvel foes - as well as the much
missed Kellfire, who was detained from attending.
Was I the only one who was saddened that the Greek goddess (btb), Bess, or The LOTL were MIA? Mars needs
Women! Mrs. FredPC was the coolest!
Hey, how about those Spudboys? Like Beatlemania, an amazing recreation. Like DEVO live, there were minor tech
difficulties, but SVO, YoniPin, R-ICK! and Prof. Von Marko played spudwazz like no one else could or would!
MARVELKiND was better than okgo! - and should have their own record deal! C.D Truth does Akron proud
again! The drum talent of Ahipdude and all of the Karoke participants were high octane. Loud shots to Mike
Watters and Michael P. for the video exclusives. Rev. Stang worked the crowd into frenzy when it was needed.
Praise BOB!
Lastly, the General and Jungle Jim provided insightful and poignant statements for the spud faithful. Gen Boy is quite
the raconteur and the calm in the eye of the potato storm. Not unlike Alan Watts or J.G. Bennett as an orator. As a
writer, it is time for me to Re-Tire. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
